| How to lease a new car? |
30 Dec |
Whether you lease a car to get into the latest models or have better purchasing
flexibility, getting a good deal is always bound to give you a lift. Use
these guidelines to help you spot one:
Check incentives: be on the look-out for factory subsidized lease deals.
Car manufacturers realise that consumers who lease vehicles from them are
more likely to be repeat customers than those who simply purchase vehicles.
Through their leasing companies, they adjust the residual value and offer
low financing charge. Other auto-manufacturers are also starting to give
incentives on leasing, called leasing subventions. They offer these
subsidies to put slow-selling models on the street, saving you even more
money.
Set up a competitive: bidding environment to get the lowest price. If you
already have an idea in mind of the make, model and trim level of your
desired car, attempt to calculate your own lease payment before you go
shopping to avoid paying through the roof. Check online comparison tools or
use a lease calculator to check your lease payment based on purchase price.
This gives you greater negotiation leverage as you solicit quotes from
various leasing companies.
Make sure you know all the fees involved at the beginning of your lease:
you may have to pay fees for licenses, registration and title. Other fees
include acquisition fees, freight fees and local or state taxes. At
lease-end, you may have to pay a disposition fee and charges for extra
mileage and any excess wear. Be aware that some of these fees like
acquisition and disposition fees are negotiable.
Know your mileage needs: almost all leases limit the number of miles per
year by imposing typically 10 to 20 cents per excess mile over 15,000 miles
a year. If you are the kind of high-commuter who puts 40,000 miles a year
on his car, then you might end up running thousands of dollars in hefty
penalties at the end of your lease. Be smart and negotiate a higher-mileage
limit or pad you excess miles at the beginning of your lease to avoid
robber tax rates for excess miles.
Almost all leases limit the number of miles per year by imposing fees

the kind of high-commuter who puts a lot miles on his car, then these costs
can add up quickly. Negotiate
Include GAP coverage: make sure your lease includes GAP coverage. This
covers you in the event of the vehicle getting wrecked, stolen or totalled.
Without GAP insurance, you leave yourself wide open to thousands of dollars
in leased obligations. Check if the GAP coverage is included so you don’t
pay it twice.

read comments (0)| Basic Equipment Required for Youth Soccer Training |
25 Dec |
Hosting a youth soccer training session can be a lot of fun. When hosting a soccer training session with children, you can expect to see them, their family members, and even a few of their friends comes to watch the training. This makes for a very exciting time for everyone. Coaches get the opportunity to personally develop each player individually, while others watch in amazement at the pure skill and agility of the child that they are supporting. However, it is essential to bring along some basic equipment that is required for youth soccer training.
The first thing that you should bring to your youth soccer training session is a soccer ball for each player. While you should allow it to be permissible for a child to bring their own soccer ball, it is important to understand that many children may not have their own soccer ball. There are many children who may simply forget their soccer ball. This is why it is essential to have a steady supply of balls available. Be sure to make a rule that if a child brings along their own soccer ball they should write their first and last name in permanent marker on it. This will ensure proper identification after the youth soccer training session is over.
The next thing that you should be sure to bring to a youth soccer training session is a large container of prepared ice water or prepared ice Gatorade. You can purchase a cooler that has a spout to make it easy to get the fluid from the container. Be sure to purchase a large amount of cups that the children can use. Normally, these cups will become misplaced and a child may use a new cup each time that they get something to drink. You may wish to explain to parents that a child should bring a bottle of ice water with them to soccer training. Be sure to stress the importance of placing their names on the bottles. Many children may even like to bring sports bottles.
The third thing that you should bring to a youth soccer training session is enough shin guards for all of the players. It is important to have these items available to avoid the risk of injury in your players. Many children may forget their shin guards, or may not be able to purchase a pair for themselves. However, as a coach, it is essential that you take these things into consideration to ensure that all players are able to enjoy a safe practice session.
When coaching a youth soccer training session, it is very important to be certain that you bring a whistle. In many cases, this will be the only method that you can use to gain the attention of the children. This is especially true if the training area is relatively large. You do not have to invest a lot of money into the whistle for it to be effective, but it is necessary that it has a high enough quality to be heard. You may choose to bring a few extra whistles to ensure that you have a backup in case the first one becomes lost or damaged in any way.
The next item that you will need at a youth soccer training session is a way to separate the group into teams. This may be as simple as different colored vests, t-shirts of different colors, or even flagging devices. There are many drills and other activities that may require you to have at least two teams, so, having a method of identifying your teams are very important.
| Clothes For Winter Riding |
20 Dec |
Mountain biking in cold weather has always been a
challenge. The problem is that you’ll start out
cold then warm up and break a sweat, making yourself
wet. Then, when you travel downhill, the combination
of wet skin and windchill will be quite chilling.
Below, you’ll find a list of the cold weather clothing
that will make winter riding less of a bone chilling
experience.
Booties
In cold temperatures, your feet are the most vulnerable
part of your anatomy. Pressure from pedaling will
tend to cut off the circulation to your toes, which
can put you at a risk of frostbite. In cold conditions,
neoprene booties are a must have. They will zip over
your shoes and even have a pattern in the sole where
you can cut out a piece for cleats.
Gloves
There are several manufacturers that make “lobster
gloves”, a hybrid glove that separates your index
finger and thumb from the rest of your hand. These
gloves are warmer than regular gloves, and the distinct
index finger will allow you to operate your shifting
and brake levers.
In case your hands get cold, you should carry a pair
of lightweight glove liners will you as well. If you
have to stop to take care of a problem, the liners will
protect your hands from the cold.
Glasses
Glasses that wraparound and provide maximum protection
from the wind are best to wear in the winter. You can
protect yourself from debris, as well as the cold.
Socks
You should wear heavy socks although not to heavy. A
sock that is overly heavy will make your shoes tight,
cut off circulation, even make your feet cold. You
should try lightweight socks, as they will keep your
feet warm without bulk. If you need an extra layer,
try silk ski socks as they are very warm and also
extra lightweight.
Underwear
Polypropylene is the best material here, as it is
lightweight and best for colder temperatures.
Wind protection
Moving air is the biggest cause for losing body
heat. By having good wind protection you’ll be able
to vent perspiration while also protecting yourself
from windchill. You should choose pants and a jacket
based on durability, breathing, and price as these
types of clothing can get very experience.
Helmet and liners
Your head is very important, as you lose 50% of your
body heat through your head. A helmet is designed to
keep you cool in the summer, not warm in the winter. A
fleece liner inside your helmet will keep your head
and ears warm during winter riding.

| How to Save Money on NASCAR Tickets |
15 Dec |
Would you like to attend a live NASCAR race? If you would, you are definitely not alone. A large number of race fans would love to see a race live and in-person, but many are unable to do so. This is mostly due in part to costs. Yes, it can be expensive to attend a NASCAR race, but did you know that there are ways in which you can go about saving money on your tickets?
As nice as it is to hear that there are ways that you and other NASCAR fans can save money on NASCAR tickets, you may be looking for more information, like how you can go about doing so. For starters, you will want to make your ticket purchases as soon as possible. The closer it gets to a popular event, like a NASCAR race, the more scalpers are able to take control. Scalpers are individuals who purchase tickets to sporting events with the sole purpose of reselling them for a much higher price later on.
Another easy way that you can go about attending a NASCAR race, while saving money at the same time, is by examining all seating options. As with many other popular events, such as other sporting events and concerts, you will find that different seats or sections often have different price tags attached to them. Of course, you will want to try and get the best seat in the house, but you may want to shift your focus a little bit. Instead, search for the best seats that are priced within your budget.
Visiting online auction websites is another easy way that you can go about finding affordable NASCAR tickets. Online auction websites are ideal, as they make it easy for you to compare ticket prices, all within a matter of minutes. Although it is more than possible for you to find cheap NASCAR tickets on online auction websites, like eBay, you also need to use caution. Most online auction websites allow sellers to set their own prices. Some individuals may set their ticket prices at a ridiculously high amount, essentially, making them an online scalper.
Another great way to go about finding and buying cheap NASCAR tickets is by asking around. Most diehard NASCAR fans purchase their tickets in advance. Unfortunately, sometimes, plans change or emergencies arise. If you know of any NASCAR fans who have tickets for a race, but cannot attend, be sure to speak with them. They may have wanted to simply give their tickets away to someone that they know, but offer to buy the tickets instead.
Speaking of buying tickets from NASCAR fans who are ticket holders, but who are unable to attend the race in question, be sure to checkout your local newspapers. Those who wish to recoup a portion of their costs often turn to their newspaper classified section. This is where most will advertise any tickets that they have for sale. When using your newspaper classified section, as with online auction websites, you will want to proceed with caution. However, most individuals will ask for a fair amount for their tickets, if not an amount that is less than what they originally paid.
As highlighted above, there are a number of ways that you can go about finding NASCAR tickets for sale that are relatively affordable to purchase. As a reminder, when looking to receive something at a discounted price, including NASCAR tickets, use your best judgment.

| Advanced Vehicles |
10 Dec |
When we think of advanced vehicles it reminds us of speed that a vehicle has and all the newer vehicles that are coming out with all the modern gadgets and gizmos. Every time we turn the ignition on our vehicle we are sending a bad sign out into the world and the atmosphere. Scientist have worked rather hard at coming up with a way that our cars can be safe for our planet. So how is that done?
Advanced fuel systems include energy storage which is the batteries that help power it instead of the fuels, power electronics, thermal comfort and systems analysis. These fuel systems are constantly being studied and have made outstanding research and development topics. The main focus on the fuel systems in advanced vehicles is to find an alternative fuel in order to cut down on pollution and to restore our economy. We cannot continue buying fuels forever. We need an alternative to fuel. Sometime in the future, fuel will no longer be available for us to use. Advanced vehicles are designed to make it more efficient to run at top speeds. Convenience is another advantage to the advanced vehicles.
They plug in and charge instead of running out of fuel and refilling the tank. Running these cars may not break any records but it can help tremendously knowing that they are running clean. Ultracapacitors are designed to provide additional power to accelerate for climbing hills. Vehicle power electronics controls the amount of electricity through the devices. This may be the ignition, DC to DC converters, inverters, and motor controllers.
Vehicle Thermal comfort is how you control your temperature inside the car. You may have to roll the windows down or put them up. Turn the heat on or the air conditioning on. No matter what you have to do this is thermal comfort. The main goal for such an invention is to come up with a vehicle that can get us where we need to go in the amount of time that we allow ourselves. In the fast paced world that we live in today, it is hard to find someone who has the time to spend waiting on their vehicles to get repaired or refueled. That is because we need that vehicle to be up and running when we need it the most. Scientist are studying the car factor and what it will do for us in the future and what it has done for us in the past. As they strive to gather more information they can better the way the advanced vehicles have made it through.
Advanced vehicles are on the go and will one day be the car that we decide to buy because that may be our only choice in the future. When the fuels run dry we will no longer be able to drive what we currently have now. Though these vehicles do allow some restriction, that will no longer be as we progress into the future and all the bugs will be worked out.
| Bungee Jumping Culture |
5 Dec |
There is something about an individual that is willing to jump from a high place, attached to a rubber band. This modern extreme sport, known as bungee jumping, seems to have it’s own culture attached to it. It’s almost ethereal, hard to put your finger on it, but it is there. Perhaps it comes from the past, or is a morphing into a new spiritual experience, but the bungee jumping culture can be seen and felt.
So what is the bungee jumping culture? Where did it come from? Where is it going? The origins of the sport itself gives us a clue as to where the bungee jumping culture came from. Originally a religious ritual used on the South Pacific island of Pentecost to appease mother earth, it was supposed to proved for a good yam crop. It was also a demarcation, a rite of passage, for young boys to become known as men. Since as long as anybody can tell, these natives have conducted this ritual every spring, literally for thousands of years. The prevailing culture of the original land divers was definitely a spiritual one.
Re-discovered in the 1950s and promoted heavily in the modern world during the 1980s, bungee jumping has grown by leaps and bounds. The modern bungee jumping culture doesn’t consist of primitive natives trying to appease the mother earth. However, there is a back-to-earth element to this extreme death defying outdoor sport. It provides a thrilling adrenaline rush that is next to nothing else on earth. Perhaps space travel could rival this effect, but I doubt it. The bungee jump goes beyond the limited religious and cultural conflicts of our modern day, and appeals to something more primitive, more basic. The modern bungee jumping culture is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and multi-socio-economic group, all looking for the thrill of their lives.
So what does the modern bungee jumping culture look like? It defies logic. Both young and old alike flock to bungee jumping events. There is simply a mystique that permeates this sporting event like no other. Back to mother earth, defying death, and telling the tale – all of these are the bragging rights of successful bungee jumpers. They all share in common this aspect of the sport – survival. Jumpers face a primeval fear, the ultimate loss – death, and overcoming that fear to complete a jump. There is a sense of accomplishment and victory that goes beyond mountain climbing and other extreme sports.
Taking the back-to-nature theme to the extreme, there is a new movement within bungee jumping called nude bungee jumping. It typically appeals to the green back-to-earth movement, as well as the frugal bungee jumpers. Commercial bungee jumping outfitters usually provide a discount, or even a free jump, if someone decides to go the full monty. This type of jump is usually done with a partner, for a spiritual bonding that goes beyond the everyday realm. This is yet another evidence that the bungee jumping culture is evolving beyond normal boundaries, and we have yet to truly see what it will become.
| Going Skydiving? Don’t Forget to Get the T-Shirt! |
1 Dec |
Although going skydiving is sure to leave you with memories to last a lifetime (some may be good, some not so good), nothing says “I’ve been skydiving and lived to tell about it” like a t-shirt from the skydiving adventure. Sure, you could take the easy way out and just buy the shirt, and make people think you’ve experienced the ultimate thrill of jumping from a plane, but how shameful is that? If you’re going to wear the t-shirt, then you better have one heck of a great story to back it up. (Other than “I bought it off eBay.”)
Skydiving t-shirts come in many different styles and sayings. If you’ve completed this fearful yet gratifying experience, then reward yourself by choosing something bold and even humorous. Avoid the shirts that say, “I went skydiving and all I got was this t-shirt to prove it.” That’s boring – and frankly, it’s a bit unbelievable. It’s been done many times before, so do something different! And if you have survived skydiving, then let everyone know not just by your t-shirt. Consider buying auto tags, posters, bumper stickers, or coffee mugs. What a great conversation starter those would be!
A skydiving shop in Georgia called US Airsports Network has many t-shirts that are absolutely bold and original. You’re not likely to find these shirts anywhere else and they are sure to get people to ask you about your experience. You will find a wide variety of t-shirts with different slogans, such as “If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving isn’t for you,” and “Skydiving: Speed Limit 120 mph”. Along with t-shirts, you will also find an assortment of skydiving souvenirs to add to your collection. You’ll find mugs, mouse pads, bumper stickers, and key chains all that have original skydiving slogans and pictures.
Skywatch Gallery in Florida has the best assortment of colorful skydiving t-shirts. One shirt available has an actual picture of a person skydiving that says, “Skydiving: The Art of Falling on Your Face Gracefully.” This particular shop has over forty different styles to choose from with prices ranging from $15 and up. The shop also has original skydiving posters and auto tags available for sale.
Perhaps you have completed a military course in skydiving. This is referred to as “Basic Airborne Course” and is offered at Ft. Benning, Georgia. If you’ve successfully completed this course, you certainly don’t need a t-shirt to tell about it. Each graduate of this course receives airborne wings to proudly display on your uniform. But, if you want a t-shirt to advertise your accomplishment, then you can find a wide variety of t-shirts on base at Ft. Benning or a search of the internet will provide you with military style airborne shirts.
No matter how or when you completed your skydiving adventure, it’s never too late to buy a t-shirt to add to your memory of jumping. Most skydiving facilities will provide you with a free t-shirt at the completion of your jump, but keep in mind there are always many choices available to commemorate your unforgettable experience.
